Faulty nuclear reactors, capped prices, delayed EPR: EDF, the misalignment of the planets

At the very moment when it faces a wall of investments, the tricolor flagship, already heavily in debt, will suffer colossal losses. In question: the combination of a requirement of the State to increase the volume of electricity that it sells at knockdown prices to its competitors, and a historical low availability of its nuclear power plants. However, so far, the sky seemed to clear up for EDF, after an alignment of the planets in favor of the atom. But the last week has reshuffled the cards. Explanations.
